About Us

I am a licensed mental health counselor and have been in private practice since 1995. I have worked in the counseling field in California and Washington since 1989. I love my work and am always pursuing new knowledge that I believe will make me more effective in encouraging and supporting positive growth in my clients.

I believe growth is sometimes inspired by pain but the process of change can be interesting and fun.

My educational background includes:

• MS in Marriage, Family, and child counseling from San Francisco State University
• Certification as a drug and alcohol counselor
• Anger management training
• Certification as a hyponotherapist

I keep current in my field with continued education in various counseling approaches.
